Samtan Art Mine( 삼탄아트마인 ) Samtan Art Mine is a cultural art complex, transformed from an abandoned mine at the foot of Hambaeksan Montain, the main production area of stone coal in Korea. The name “Samtan” refers to Samcheok Tanjwa, one of the major coal mines in Korea, and ‘Art Mine’ plays on the history of the coal mine. There are many cultural art spaces throughout the nation, but Samtan Art Mine attracts visitors for being located inside an actual mine site. Opened in 1964 as an industrial establishment, the mine operated until October 2001. Samtan Art Mine draws even deeper artistic meaning due to this poignant history. Place named <Venus from Bubble> was a shooting location of famous K-drama in 2016, ‘Descendants of the Sun'. Heyyy everyone! Sokyin is come back again XXD today I would like to continue my part 2 introduce about the tourist attractions of Gangneung. It is amazing place as if you are a K-drama fans, you will know it is one of the place that shooting in a one of the most popular Korean drama. Are you still remembered this? Yes, you are right! It is the place that shooting for “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God” .  This is Jumunjin Breakwater ( 주문진 방사제 ) . It was built to protect the coastline from the effects of erosion and longshore drift. It also became a popular attraction after its first appearance in the television drama “Goblin” (2016) as many visitors look forward to taking photos of a scene enactment from the drama. ⛫Location: 1609, Haean-ro, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do After that, we can visit Jeongdongjin Rail Bike  (정동진 레일바이 크)  to have a nice memory with your friends, family or beloved.
