Part 2 : Let's Skiing in Gangwon

Sorry guys for wait sooo longgg… Today I’m gonna share about some popular ski festivals in Gangwon.

There has 3 popular ski festival in Gangwon which are the Fun Ski Festival, Go! Go! Ski Festival and the Snow Tube Race Festival.

The special skiing in Korea are visitors can take skiing and snowboarding lessons offered in various language. Besides that, visitors can enjoy the exciting performances and cultural experiences! You may discover a whole new world of skiing through the ski festivals.

VIVA SKI FESTIVAL @ DAEMYUNG VIVALDI PARK

Daemyung VIVALDI PARK is a four season’s leisure complex having water themed park, golf club, and horse riding club as well. VIVALDI PARK collaborated Ski with K-food and K-culture. The even have provided prayer room for Muslim travelers and also halal certified restaurants.

If you worry and afraid of skiing after trying once, you may choose to go to Jjimjilbang (Korean Sauna), Indoor waterpark, outdoor hot spring or even horse riding!

Other than that, Korean food that carefully selected will be served for ultimate K-experience, therefore visitors have a chance to enjoy various Korean street & traditional food. There also have master chefs teach you how to make real Korean food. The menu changes every year according to participants’ preference.

FUN SKI & SNOW TUBE FESTIVAL @ YONGPYONG RESORT

This ski festival is held from mid-December to early March at Yongpyong Resort. It offers fun exciting winter experience with skiing and snowboarding lessons taught by expert instructors, skiing competition and awards ceremonies, and a wide range of hands-on programs and performances.

GO! GO! SKI @ HIGH 1 RESORT

This ski festival is held from the peak of winter in mid-December to early March at High 1 Resort. It offers a memorable experience particularly to tourists from Southeast Asian and other snowless regions. Visitors can take part in expert-taught skiing lessons for varying difficult as well as performances and events to experience the beauty and charm of K-culture.

KISC (KOREA INTERNATIONAL SKI CAMP) @ ALPENSIA SKI RESORT AND HIGH 1 RESORT

As customized days and nights ski package exclusively offers to individual tourists, KISC can be customized within accommodations, meals, ski lessons (with level tests), fun activities and a competition. Shorter programs are also available for those with less time.
